Khalifah Institute is formed to develop and disseminate KHALIFAH Method founded by the late of Prof Dr. Mohammad al’Mahdi in 2004

Our objectives:

• To help bring about a world society that is good & right in every way
• To preserve, disseminate & further develop the life of the founder on Khalifah Methodology, both nationally & internationally, to help bring about a better world (This work encompasses 40 years of research in child & clinical psychology, theology, theoretical physics & cosmology)

We begins its activities by offering seminars, training, workshops for the parents, teachers, corporate, youth, and children with the goal of helping to initiate such positive changes in Malaysian society, Insha’Allah, that the whole world will come to see us as an example of what a rightly guided Islamic nation can do to be a peaceful, caring and just society. We carry out close follow-up of our educational programs through volunteers who are trained as Khalifah Trainers.

About Us

Founder Of Khalifah Institute

The late Prof. Dr. Muhammad al’Mahdi spent almost 14 years as a full time university student in the USA, had 3 Ph.D. programs, in child, clinical, & experimental psychology. He was an Assistant Professor of Child/Clinical psychology in USA. He worked for the US government Office of Child Development as a research director in children’s values education, and was a Chief Psychologist for Head Start.

Prof. devoted his last days to training others in the knowledge & techniques he acquired during his lifetime. He was for over half of his life an atheist, convinced by the materialist science he knew so well that God did not exist. After he came to understand the non-materialist science of Einstein, he realized that if he wanted to be honest as a scientist he had to accept that scientific data now very powerfully proclaimed that God did exist. It was his study of theoretical physics which changed him from a non-believer into a believer in God & it was the perfection of the revealed truth of Islam in the Qur’an & the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad saw that resulted in him becoming a Muslim almost twenty five years ago. Before he became a Muslim he gave years of serious study to all of the world’s major religions and found that no other religion but Islam offered him the opportunity to remain both an objective scientist, and a true believer in God. Allah has indeed Blessed him greatly by His guidance.

Prof Madya Dr Alini Marzuki

Is an associate professor at the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, UKM. Has worked with UKM since 1983.  She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the Univ of Iowa, USA  and PhD in Pharmacology from the Univ of Georgia, USA. Had the opportunity to be trained by the late Prof. Muhammad al’Mahdi, founder of Khalifah Institute and Khalifah Methodology since the year 2000. Is one of the authors of the book, “Membentuk Peribadi Cemerlang: Panduan Untuk Ibubapa”. A member of the Board of Trustees of Khalifah Institute and Board of Directors of Khalifah Model School. Currently conducting regular training on Khalifah Methodology to parents, youth, teachers and corporate organizations. Married with five children ages 11 to 24 years.

Puan Azra Banu

A student of the late Professor Muhammad al’ Mahdi since January 2004.  Spent 3 months as a full time student with Professor al Mahdi and completed in April 2004. Has been giving talks on Khalifah Methodology since April, 2004. Has conducted full day training sessions at PERKIM Bangsar and Al Hunafa. Is a regular trainer on Khalifah Methodology to MAS Security Personnel since January 2007. A founding member of Muslim Professionals Forum (MPF). Active in all of MPF’s activities and is on their editorial board. Very often writes on their events. Married with 4 children, a full time mother and wife.

Puan Rosiah Jantan

Rosiah is a free lance consultant in international human resource management in the areas of personnel policy development, industrial relations, and expatriate administration.

She has 25 years experience in a multinational company in all areas of human resource management including several years in the business line focusing on health, safety and environment matters, including security. She also had total of five years operational auditing/accounting experience with Malaysian audit and trading companies.

Rosiah is a Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK, after completing her final year in Gwent College of Higher Education in Newport, Wales. Rosiah has conducted several classes at a foreign university on International Human Resource Management. She is also an active volunteer and Certified trainer since April 2004 at the Khalifah Institute, a private charitable trust involved in education and development of the Muslim ummah.

Puan Badariah Ismail

Founding director of DINAMIKA, working full time with DINAMIKA as Managing Director. 9 years teaching experience. A student leader during her university life with active involvement in STEADFAST ( IIU facilitators club ) especially in module development and training. She believes in the power of teamwork to bring DINAMIKA to a greater height. With her keen interest in early childhood education, she currently commit herself in learning and spreading a new method in shaping excellent character called the Khalifah Project. She is married to Mr. Ashroff Ibrahim with five children. She is also an active volunteer and trainer at the Khalifah Institute, a private charitable trust involved in education and development of the Muslim ummah.  

Puan Hanani Saman

B.Arabic ( Hons ) IIUM 1994, M. Edu. Psychology ( UM, 2003 )

Director of DINAMIKA, working full time as the Principle of Dzul Iman Islamic Kindergarten. 6 years teaching experience. A student leader in IIUM, she was active in Nuqaba’ Council and the Hisbah System. A committed and responsible person, she is self driven to perfect her job and delivers excellent result.  Her knowledge in Arabic with a strong awareness on child psychology, strike a much needed balance in Dzul Iman’s education system. A teacher by nature, she naturally becomes the children source of love and guidance. Under her administration, Dzul Iman is moving to a new phase of development with a more systematic approach. She is married to Mr. Abd. Latib bin Aziz. She is also an active volunteer and trainer at the Khalifah Institute, a private charitable trust involved in education and development of the Muslim ummah.
